The Tail of Emily Windsnap is about Emily. Emily never went in water before except for showers. So when seventh grade starts she begs her mom to let her go swimming in gym class. Her mom gives in and lets her, and she gets her first swimsuit.

She finds out that swimming comes naturally. So that night she sneaks out of her home and goes swimming and she turns into a mermaid. She even finds a mermaid. The mermaid’s name is Shona. Shona tells her stuff about mermaids.

She also finds out stuff about her perents. She even found stuff out about the old light house guy. She also is looking for her dad. Read this book and you’ll find out how she finds her dad, and how she gets out of all the trouble she gets into looking for her dad.
